The Beekeepers Intense Beauty Balm is similar to the Beekeepers Intense Skin balm in its base ingredients (honey, beeswax, castor oil, avocado oil - all of which have made this product TBISB a constant best seller!)
But The Beekeepers Intense Beauty Balm goes that litte bit further with the additional ingredients of Rosehip Oil, Frankincense Oil and Vitamin E.
So lets dive in and see what the experts say these additonal, expensive ingredients do, and why I chose them in this new product!
Rosehip Oil* is known for its wound healing and anti-septic properties. Studies indicate its ability to imporove the skins hydration and regulate oil glad secretion. Nourishing and rejuvenating it exhibits strong moisture retention abilities. Its constituents include very high levels of essential fatty acids and is a source of retinoic acid (which can help with skin repair and signs of aging).
Frankincense Oil* is described as an anti-inflammatory and a mild antiseptic that brings relief to dry and sensitive skins. In addition, its astringent properties are said to help balance oily or overactive skin.
Vitamin E* is considered the most important oil-soluable anti-oxidant and free-radical scavenger when applied topically. It is said to be a 'photoproctentant' which means it helps with sunlight damage. As a moisturiser Vitamin E is well absorbed through the skin demonstrating an abiltiy to help with blood circulation and help reduce the sign of rough, dry or damaged skin.
